When our organism experiences a high level of stress one might endure a state of chronic stress and this might cause our system to overload which produces a lack of motivation and general fatigue. And then we have another possibility of feeling a sort of come down following a period of stress when we have integrated that in our experience – our stress response will no longer be active, and we are now feeling relief and generally move on and get back into our normal routine.
There is then the state of relaxation when one embraces their stillness, there is no chaos, we are back at zero point and anything is possible. Our parasympathetic nervous system is more engaged, we feel relaxed, and this is preceded by a feeling of safety and trust. To compete for example comes from a lack, a fear, and a danger of someone else taking over what you feel entitled to, yet it’s all just a self fulfilling prophecy that spirals one into a constant lack. When we feel safe, we trust and we are relaxed, we take charge of what we want our lives to be, and literally notice synchronised events as if all orchestrated by some other being. This is testament to your ability to manifest.
Sometimes, we are not really relaxed but feel a sense of detachment, or rather disenchantment without knowing this actively, but mistakenly believe us to be relaxed and at peace. This is a sort of dissociation, a form of escapism. It is also similar to shutting down because one has lost motivation and so one believes to be meditative or still, except, it’s the mind tricking and evading again.
Can we ever really be fully relaxed when so much lurks in our subconscious? I believe we can, incrementally. And as we clear the crap out, we enter into a more sustainable state of inner relaxation that is pure and in no danger of perturbance.
How relaxed are you today?
