These days the fashion is to avoid perfectionism, admitting to having flaws, liking our imperfections and embracing the idea that nothing nor we are perfect or can ever be for to hold such aspiration is self sabotage and one that can only stand in ones way of fully self loving!
I say bullshit!
This is yet another example of how powerful our mind is, as is the brains acumen to bend reality, to simply maintain a mental paradigm of what perfection means. To be unhappy – not perfect. To have breasts you can lift to wipe down the table after dinner – definitely not perfect. To have an arse that looks like it defies Newton’s laws of gravity by just hanging mid air despite its weight – no way perfect unless to you it is. Because the idea of what is perfect is so subjective it is also wholly and totally flawed.
If with most life experiences we prima facie know more about us, then surely what precedes would be a deemed essential in establishing any ground to realise oneself. How else to realise facets of self but to experience these as they unfold?
Instead, the way we have preferences for certain taste, so we do for what perfection means to us.
There is nothing that’s not perfect. It is all perfect. A play, the stage and the actors – all enacting the script of life. Every actor has some leeway in how they create their own lines depending on how they perceive the play and all that’s in it to be. So isn’t this play of life perfect after all, except maybe not in what we deem perfection to be?
The chaos, pains trials tribulations love sexual war peace and infinitesimally more aspects of existence are perfect – not good or bad, but just what they are. A cause and an effect. All perfectly orchestrated.
We are perfect. As are our life situations. It is all perfectly orchestrated but we are conditioned only to accept some of life as opposed to all of it.
Embrace all of it. Taste it all. Watch your reactions and response to life. Unravel the mystery of your Self. Every life situation reflects back to our state of mind. Life however reflects our quest for self mastery, for connection, for union and finally for an amalgamation of who we think we are to what we really are, no holes barred.
Life is Perfect as are we. What’s not, is the minds interference and constant battle for autonomy.
Be You because You as You is Perfection personified!
