Ha ha ha! Yes, sometimes you gotta lose the plot a little to make the home you are here. What’s key is the level of awareness when this happens and the steps thereon.

I lost the plot! Big deal. Do I know why I did? Do I have the root, the trigger identified, and not the immediate event or person that is simply the one in the middle? Imagine you know your triggers very well, so well you can predict just how this might set you off only you either delay your reaction or you simply don’t react at all.

This is key.

When there is a reaction but it’s delayed which means there has been some time to assimilate the trigger, but we have reacted nevertheless, this time you are in your full senses except the brain hasn’t been rewired sufficiently enough to change the type of response. Getting triggered and knowing we are being so, is a milestone indeed because mostly we live in triggered land, form our standard stress response, and cannot undo it let alone know it’s the triggered that’s riding it.

I know I am triggered: yet I cannot help but fall for it. Why? The brain. Habit. It knows in its filed away typical responses for such situations that such a reaction is called for. What saves the day then? Our awareness and constant practice.

We know change is nigh; but we are so much in our mind that the change remains a distant future a hope a dream. It’s okay. With time, your awareness will learn to bridge the gap so that what you really crave for becomes your daily reality.

Practice and feel the change now. It’s here. And it’s here to stay. Until the next level of knowing thyself steps in.

Blessings
