Where’s the ebb says the mind? Alas, but where do I live if it’s not in the ebb, says the mind, the mind gets agitated, starts to fear drowning in a relaxed state of us, it’s too scary, and the mind fights back with all it’s got- history. Yes, the mind thrives on history. It lives off the essence of what history has etched in us and wants to keep a tight hold on that because without history, the mind loses its grip and becomes extinct, just another tool used when remembered otherwise a rusty old relic!
You think you have conquered your mind until you start to question the ebb in the flow. You then realise wait hang on a minute, this ebb is reminiscent of the conditioning I hold inside of me because of the memory bank storage. The ebb need not be there. The mind then says, “well, without the ebb there won’t be growth and you won’t know the flow!”, to that we say, “just shut up dear mind because right now I am in my flow and done I am with the ebb, it’s not needed because I am whole, and I kinda like it east going and smooth, so I will stay in that vibe, got it?”.
We set our intentions and tarry on. We can see our dreams manifesting. And then we notice wait things aren’t going to plan. We start to make a million excuses such as “divine timing”, “several unknowns”. These are all the minds “excuses” to keep us hooked into an old mindset although we truly believe we have let the old go. If it’s going to mean a struggle then it’s got to go. There’s still work to be done.
Rather than focus on the excuses and reasons why things aren’t as you want them to be as external to you, just look inside and check whether any old baggage might still be lurking in the baggage hall. You might be surprised.
Let’s say you think you found the right house. But the house is not even on offer. Suddenly it smiles at you – the house comes on the market. But the prices outsizes your pocket. Do you continue to wait for the house to fit or do you let go and move on? Because if you truly believe the house is yours, it will be that whether you wait or not. The key is to let go and keep flowing. It’s the same for any life situation.
Approach it inside out and you might see things in a different light.
