Oh the drudgery of filling in job applications which you would think would get easier now that our lives are all so digital but no! What experience have you for this position? I see you have all the credentials and certificates but no experience. Sorry sir you just won’t cut it here. We are looking for experience. Ermmmm but how the darn can we get there without getting one foot in. Come in employers whose gonna play ball with me? I am worth my salt I say, you won’t know till you try!
Okay so enough of employers for now. Just imagine that you know what you want but just get the window of opportunity to get that. Something has to happen for the fortuitous moment. What? A leap of faith? Do we need someone else to let us in the game of life for us to have the experience? No.
Our inner life and our relationship with ourself is what is experienced in that outside. It happens without a third party “allowing” it. No employer here except you could say – the universe. For some.
Experience is not the primary aim of human life. And neither are thoughts. These are all tools to facilitate the co creative potential we bear so that the experience fleshes out what the mind imagines and wishes. But yes experience can guide us back in to see what changes if any are needed to accurately reflect conscious desires.
Some say that experience shapes us, in fact it is quite the opposite. We create the experience except perhaps what we know consciously and what exists in our subconscious or roots may not be the same story. Any discrepancy shows up in the experience and when we decide to make any changes post experiences we think that the experience caused the change. In a way, it merely eked out what had to change in order to make an experience better reflect your expectations.
When we have a painful experience such as a rejection in love, we learn to either soothe ourselves and move on to a different lover albeit with the same pattern, or we delve into what the rejection is reflecting on the inside of us. Make sense? It is not about the other person not compatible or whatever else you jade them with. It is about you – always. What in you begs to experience this in order for some distortion of the whole to be repaired? Why wasn’t your conscious desire of a relationship cognisant with the actual reality of how it turned out to be? After all we can’t be consciously wishing a reflection right? So it must be an unconscious need in us craving reparation so that the feeling of rejection becomes unfamiliar and not part of how we envisage a love match to be. Love and rejection for us then don’t come together. Why they do is for you to find out.
We consciously seek out what reflects who we think we are as opposed to who we really are. Experience will show us just that – the dichotomy.
As long as the reality of us and the awareness of us don’t meet, we will continue to experience on the outside what we haven’t knowingly created. And sadly we will then attribute this discomfort to “other” forces namely karma God black magic others. The list is endless. Our subconscious needs attention, not the others or even the experience.
Sort your crap out and the experience will show up for you!
