What the whole fuss is about Karma whichever way it is put – the whole thing simply stinks! I mean who cares and wants to really know about what I did in another lifetime and hell I might not even be convinced about another lifetime let alone parallels or even this current one being real or not!! Phew! Seriously, though why do I need to pay for shit, oh sorry I meant crap, that I may or may not have done. I get it if I know I have done something and then need to receive just desserts but even that whole idea about retribution or getting punished makes no sense.

So, here’s what does make sense – that karma in nothing more that the encapsulation of cause and effect, the totality of experience in this manifested version of us. To put simply, it is an account of our whole experience. And it is important because the gist of our experience creates an imprint of how things ought to be and in effect create a mindset.

When we speak of karma, it is actually the mind’s own recording of the experience that we must grapple with as not real but an illusion created by the mind. By unravelling the “why” we are, we get to know the “who” we are. Removing the “why” also gets rid of the mindset. Once we see how our mind came to be as it is, we get bypass the mind and even create a new mindset incorporating the wider picture of you.

As long as Karma exists so does the cycle of life and death. We continue to create the experience our consciousness records and recreate some our mindset attracts. To be rid of this account, one must become aware.

Aware of oneself.

The awareness takes one to realise that we are not defined by our experience and therefore without that, we are a bare canvas full of creative potential. Zero Karma. Infinite Potential.

As long the mindset exists unbeknown to us, the mind will create that which we feed it through the fodder stores in the unconscious unknown memory banks of us. We can break out of it by becoming aware that the mind is just that – the mind. It is not who we are. Without the mind taking us hostage, we remain free of karma.

Karma no longer defines us.

The attachment and significance we give is what creates the mindset.

Is your mind in control or are you?
