The aftermath of a wake up call into the why you are, is usually followed by a series of healing crisis, trauma release realisations, epiphanies, synchronicity and lots of tears, laughter, joy, dream shattering relationship breaking and making. What happens when there is no wake up call? All the drama still continues. Albeit, without awareness. Or maybe you are one of us that simply stayed awake alert and aware of the whole of us!
When the healing is complete and a wholeness is restored, whilst life will continue with all its nuances, a place of contentment arrives. There is no need to REACT, to DEFEND, to EXPLAIN and pander to anything else you petty sense of self might decide it needs to remain in charge. And all because you now steer your ship of life. As the WHOLE you as opposed to a fragmented version that didn’t receive the assurance it needed in its formative days and so looks for all sorts of ways of setting up security sensors to ensure a false sense of safety.
If you are a trauma survivor or a victim of narcissistic abuse maybe even have a narcissist parent, this fact won’t matter, you will have lived past it, integrated it as opposed to diminished or minimised it. You can still see the narcissist as being that without getting involved in the drama of it. You have gained your self and distance. A point to note here about narcissist tendency, is that, most of this is borne of a false sense of self as a coping mechanism when needs of the self were not met by the primary caregivers. Then there is the pathological narcissist who may or may not heal.
With the healing complete, you are no longer working for a pre programmed and conditioned mind but rather your mind is simply there for you to use at Will to siphon any thought processes. You are so aware of yourself that you know when the mind being so insecure it will be made redundant starts to throw a tantrum in seeking sovereignty over you by rearing it’s head up again. Awareness will always save the day.
When we feel that whole self emerge, our need to have things a certain way falls; we don’t have to be right or wrong; and how others behave is no longer our concern. We are fully immersed engaged and relaxed in our lives connected to the infinite space within.
How many times have you felt the need to control? Can you say you are not your bills or rent? Can you say you have enough space to offer someone wandering past your house, and then suddenly resting in your garden uninvited on a sunny day, a glass of water just because he might be thirsty?
Where are you on the whole?
