There is a lot of hype these days about following your bliss your passion and your purpose in life. As an up and about awakened mama how I present life to bubba is always on my “agenda” for the day.
Yesterday on our walk to the farm, as we enjoyed the hay, cows grazing and mooing away whilst the crows pecked on their hides, I felt that some change to our situation is imminent. But what? Could that be the brain seeking novelty since that’s how we are designed? I suppose we are that way inclined to make sure a survival of the species and a continuous evolution of our mind and consciousness because without a desire to know we would cease to expand us.

That got me to today’s post. What is my passion? What is your passion? Do we live our passion? Can we have more than one? Do we need one?
I think I have many passions and these are continually changing as I evolve. I can’t think of any one passion apart from a “passion to know myself” that has remained ever ever since.
Can we foster our children’s passion when we present curated activities to them before they are even three years old? What happens to their passion when we teach them to be competitive and that nothing that has no return is really worth pursuing. How many of us have been led to believe that passions that have no way of showing their worth in material possessions and comparatives are not worth pursuing?

Do we need to revisit our child self to find our passions? Can we start today and perhaps try new things just for the sake of trying them as opposed to gaining anything? Why are we so driven by rewards? That is an animalistic instinct. How do we train our doggies? Treats.
Today I am curious about what my passion is without what it “should” be. What is yours?
