As I parent from within some questions arise that might lead on to the inner work that is really needed in order for us to break those patterns.

Honest and not so thought of but all the same spontaneous and real cut the crap type of responses to these questions might help.

1, Have you ever felt agitated or irritated by your baby? Can you remember the first time you did? And how did you react? So here let’s think of times when your bubba is pulling at your legs and you are up against the clock to get the dinner ready; maybe you finally get a moment to do something for yourself such as make a cup of chai, and bubba keeps whining calling you for your attention; when bubba might knock your £80 plant pot!!; pour that tea it took you all day to get; put fresh laundry in the bin or your handset! Okay so you get where we are going.

2, Do you cope well with your baby’s need to enforce independence? This is the whole “me do it” phase. Bubba doesn’t want to wear a jacket to go out in the cold; doesn’t want to be strapped in the car seat; wants to eat his way; and so much more here.

3, Have you ever “lost” it with baby? For example, you are running to an appointment rushed for time like we all are all of the time, and bubba says no I won’t go out now, or insists on brushing your hair for the tenth time that morning. You have a work deadline to meet, and bubba wants only you to feed him only you to play with. Nothing else will do. Bubba threw all the eggs left in the fridge and due to a lack of supply you won’t get some for a while. Then what?

4, What is your support system? How do you manage stress?

5, What are your triggers? These are found everywhere. Anything that sets you off inside or outside.

So, am just working on the brain’s neural pathways right now and how we can change these if the models we have don’t work and if we just want to change these.

Please if you have any other friends with babies who might be having a hard time keeping it together or find it super easy to get themselves organised especially those who are single, and have other extra issues to deal with, please, forward this to them too.

After all the feedback is wonderful. And part of furthering our integration.

Sending you mama loves hugs and cuddles 🥰
