To be grateful has become a fashion statement; armour against any manifestation hiccups; and definitely a token prize to say all that has happened so far was for the better and best. But isn’t all this a little contrived? How about just feeling grateful when the moment arises? And when does that happen? When we really feel it. Anything before is a mental exercise, a consolation, a means to an end, and at best a coping mechanism.
To really feel gratitude is to be in the state of receptivity, and not that you feel it inculcate a level of being grateful that will in turn attract blessings and therefore more of what you are grateful for.
Nada.
To feel grateful, we must feel absolutely and totally safe relaxed so that we can smile look around and feel yes ah now I have arrived look at my life I love it it is perfect just as it is, you feel a lightness of being, and the vibration you hold then is one of pure gratitude and receptivity. The blessing to be able to perceive receptivity, to accept what is in your pouch, breeds gratitude. That pure vibration of gratitude keeps you in that open space of pure love and appreciation of life as it is right now. Pure joy.
You don’t want life to get better and don’t compromise, you are just there right there at that moment grateful for things just as they are, for you just as you are. It oozes out of you. No need to practice it because this emanates from a place of stillness – no chaos no rigidity no overwhelm and no stress – for that moment you have restored your silence feeling safe within and open.
Gratitude is a state of being that’s innate. It cannot be made up. It can only be experienced. Have you felt that lately? Without having to think what you are grateful for and instead just being it?
Blessings
