We are here to fulfil our potential; but what if that potential in any one life is not always a return to wholeness but partially so? Could that explain the disparity in our individual belief system of the idea of a whole us?

Our views, opinions, and entire belief systems are as varied as there are people on the planet. Can there really be a common ground that is universal to all, so much so, that we can tune into that with zero prompting? Every other healing modality, whether that be sound,  word, touch, at the very basics or a religion, a new age spiritualism, a baby’s parenting guide, will all advocate and advance the universal application of that modal. If that is so, why do only some buy into one or the other or none at all?

Perhaps then it is the case that everything is universal as are we, but, our blueprint will tune into what it needs to based on our unique purpose this time round. Make sense?

Spiritual awakening is universal yet only some of the planet will be aware of that. Materialism or shall we call it a material consciousness is also universal yet we have some that will abstain from a material life and live in meditative states, even in the material lives there will be those that are fully materially engaged, pursue that as their life purpose or others that use materialism as a means to an end. We contain all our facets of spirit body mind brain consciousness yet we might only be attuned to parts of this at any one given point in time.

Will be all realise all parts of self?

No. At least not all together but perhaps on stages. We might get little peeks through the facets and their aspects but without a totality of awareness driven by a “need” and an “urge” to bring all our parts together, we cannot fully realise our totality of being in infinite consciousness.

As we are made of all these facets, when one shuts down we will become very aware of a facet that we were asleep to, such as spirit, or the body for one that was locked in altered states of consciousness through day meditation. One example of other facets of ours kicking in to almost lift us is when we lose a grieved one, we face a trauma, we go through devastating moments, all of which bring the parts of our organism into extreme shock and stress. Have you noticed how you might have awoken to your spirit only after a sudden life change that seemed catastrophic at the time? A certain amount of trauma will either lock you in a state, or it will push you to awaken to another facet of you to assist in your healing process. Someone who is very depressed to the world may have become aware of their spirit.

Not all of us are set to have the same experiences but we are all to realise that we are a part of a bigger whole of us, and that we as whole are then parts of a magnificent whole, that is the universal consciousness. It is in our wholeness that we can tune into this level of consciousness and awareness to then live the life that says “I am whole”. Most of us think we are whole because we know ourselves or we have come to terms with spirit or body or mastered our mind. But, this totality of wholeness remains incomplete without the universality of our own consciousness. Whilst we can still have our individual consciousness, to complete our journey, this needs to dial into the bigger whole, to complete our wholeness, into “universal”.

Self realisation is only the beginning of realisation awareness and a journeying back into our source. There are so many many different levels and what brings us all so many different experiences vibes and tastes is the amount of permanence we give to energy little stage we get through. If we realise say that wow I am also spirit and not because we hear this all the time but we have a direct experience of spirit, then we might conclude that this is it, I have reached I am done and I am now so self realised and that my way is the way.

So, it is the permanence of, and the attribute of self that make us different in what we dial into. All the modalities of accessing consciousness will be universal but it is our own mind that will diminish the universal application of one in favour of another.

And this is where our much needed tolerance to the “others” and their chosen paths will pave the way to access that universal consciousness. Choosing a path of life but discarding all other paths as not valid will only serve to invalidate your own experiences as those borne of universal consciousness. Instead,  by making a path yours, you are making that your crutch so much so that even when it’s time to give it up, you will stay because you are attached and fearful of “what if”.

Any path will eventually have to fall away if to access universal consciousness and therefore oneness is to be found.

A daily life example in the context of a toddler and mama is having a routine and insisting on the routine without any room for change even when some things call for this. To have a routine at a certain age is great as it gives the infant stability of knowing what happens next, which in turn reduces any meltdowns or fussiness. But also if we comply let them know this is what is happening and what will happen next will also work in making them feel secure. Above all, of the child is securely attached and trusts the caregiver and environment there will be no room for anxiety; instead the child wonders what next to explore with beaming excitement. What happens when the child is having so much fun in the outdoors but the routine says it’s nap time? Do you take the child back in or say it’s okay let him play he is having fun and we can deal with a later nap time or bedtime?

When we attach a permanence to any path and make that “mine”, we struggle to evolve. The next stage is then the little tribes that will develop, therein is borne judgement of all other ways. We all suffer from a hidden secret discrimination of each other based on how we live, our life choices, spiritual lives, and more. And really it boils down to being away from universal consciousness.

One who enjoys a rendition of Brahms Lullaby might also enjoy a bit of Stevie Wonder but maybe not Punjabi MC, but as long as he doesn’t dismiss the efficacy of the latter, he is at no risk of not accessing universal consciousness.

So, how to maintain our link to the which is universal, is our tolerance from a place of self compassion as opposed to an egoic mind set that says I will be tolerant because it is the right thing to do. No. The tolerance comes naturally and here is when we as a people can still flow with each other regardless of our positions in life and our paths.

Attachment to a path that we make as our path invalidating all the others whether direct or indirect will serve to keep us asleep. Perhaps in such a sleep state we can live in the type of bubble we want because venturing out might not be your current life’s purpose. But again one who is awake or asleep,it doesn’t matter as we are always connected to universal consciousness but it’s the awareness of this that might be missing. And it’s okay, it is all okay.

Our flexibility will give way to a natural opening to all else that is universal to be deemed as such because we are open and receptive.

Children are naturally little receptors. Our flexibility tolerance and non attachment to a particular way of parenting will ensure a steady secure and balanced childhood for our children. Our emotional compass will remain intact as long as we can move and flow. Rigidity and overwhelmed are just that – signals that an unhealthy attachment is in the offing.

Are you stuck to any way or things in your life that you absolutely cannot change and won’t? What about with your children do you have a routine that at times might have been adjusted but you always found a way of bringing it back?
